Zakumi

Hello! We are Zakumi class and are in Reception. Our teacher is Miss Milborrow and our teaching assistant is Mrs Thornton.

 

Our class is called the Zakumi class. Zakumi is a leopard and he was the mascot from the World Cup in 2010, which was held in South Africa. He was named Zakumi because ‘ZA’ is the code for South Africa and ‘kumi’ means 10 in several African languages.
