Ciao

Hello! We are Ciao class and are in Year 5 and 6. Our teacher is Mr Cinelli and our teaching assistant is Mr Andrews.

 

Ciao was the mascot for the 1990 World Cup in Italy. Ciao is a stick figure designed in the colours of the Italian tricolore flag- green, white and red, with a football for a head. The word ‘ciao’ is an Italian greeting which can be used as ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye.’ Interestingly, it is the only World Cup mascot without a face.

Our motto is:

“We are kind and supportive: Tutti insieme (All together)”
